Sotto la guida del suo fondatore vengono iniziate nuove produzioni: pavimenti in legno con sughero incollato, sughero espanso per insolazioni ma, soprattutto, guarnizioni in sughero telato destinate all’industria automobilistica poi sostituite da quelle in gomma sughero appositamente studiate e messe a punto per l’impiego nei motori di nuova generazione. Negli anni ‘60 la produzione di guarnizioni attraversa un notevole processo evolutivo passando dalle precedenti guarnizioni in “Suberplast” che è un composto di sughero e gomma sintetica. Nel 1965 la produzione è costituita per metà del fatturato da guarnizioni in gomma sughero e per metà da isolanti termoacustici in sughero. Solo nel 1974 la Insit Industria Spa comincia a produrre articoli tecnici in gomma che diventeranno con il passare degli anni il vero punto di forza della società. Nel 1989 l’azienda realizza il progetto della prima cuffia per giunto omocinetico in elastomero termoplastico stampata con tecnologia ad iniettoestrusione/soffiaggio e agli inizi degli anni 90 parte la produzione in serie che si svilupperà sempre di più anche con nuovi prodotti fino a diventare oggi cosi importante da costituire circa la metà del fatturato aziendale. All’inizio degli anni 2000 viene abbandonata definitivamente la produzione di articoli in gomma sughero.
