Le domande di brevetto per marchio d’impresa The (Patent Office) applications for grant of a (business) trademark Explanation: Whilst indeed FWIW Garzanti 'dictionary' entry no. 2 for brevetto (di pilota aeronautica) features a pilot's licence, I am slightly concerned that such a translation miught be confusable with a trademark licence agreement that - to my knowledge - need not be registrable at a Patent or TM Office. Surely, this is a patent office application with a priority registration period. Otherwise, 'grant' might be a neutral way around the licenc/sing idea. Also, can we assume that a marchio d'impresa is interchangeable with a marchio di fabbrica e-g- regd. by a factory? Example sentence(s):
