Tech/Engineering - Law (general)
Italian term or phrase: EC1
This is in the reference for a Technical Standard.

Here is the context:
Norma CEI EN 60825-1 – Class.
CEI 76-2 – CT 76 – Fascicolo 9891 – Anno 2009 – Edizione Quinta+EC1 – Sicurezza degli apparecchi laser – Parte 1:
Classificazione delle apparecchiature e requisiti.

I think I've successfully translated the other acronyms...
Standard IEC EN 60825-1 – Class.
IEC 76-2 – TC 76 – File 9891 – Year 2009 – Fifth+EC1 Edition – Safety of laser products – Part 1:
Equipment classification and requirements.

I just can't find what "EC1" stands for. I thought perhaps "edizione citata"?

Grazie mille!

Asker: Doh! It seems so obvious now haha. Every time I searched "EC1 laser" I was just getting beauty salons in the EC1 postcode of London. Thank you!
