agree  philgoddard: I think the idea is "one bite at a time", but this is fine.

want to taste every last bite of the world../..want to devour every last bite of the world..

Explanation:
This is a kind of word play on "every last bite", which we usually say when something tastes so good you just want to devour it.

Example sentence(s):
  • "The saffron risotto was an extremely generous portion but so delicious that one had to DEVOUR EVERY LAST BITE."
  • "Want to TASTE EVERY LAST BITE OF your steak? Drinking beer gets rid of any lingering flavours from the previous bite. So, you can savour the richness of your steak, just like the first time to try it."

shoot at goal indiscriminately

Explanation:
I like swallow the world whole, also take the bull by its horns, but not clear to me how that my fit into the football context. Looks like it could be that the player is not one who just likes to go for the goal himself/herself without passing, or looking for the appropriate opportunities before shooting for goal. If that is the case (may be evident from wider context) I would suggest something like "shoot at goal indiscriminately" or "go for the jugular" or if we go a bit less specific, in terms of maybe a player who is looking to develop his/her career at a sustainable pace, maybe "conquer the world in one go" or "conquer the world yesterday" or one of the other answers.
