is ascribed to those who established Explanation: it should be Jus not ius. It basically means "those who established the rights are responsible" https://link.springer.com/referenceworkentry/10.1007/978-1-4... Jus ad pacem has recently gained currency in just war theory as a blanket term for ethical responsibilities at the end of war and in peacekeeping operations. Literally “justice in achieving peace,” jus ad pacem is also commonly referred to as “jus post bellum,” justice after war. The latter term is somewhat misleading, as the concept incorporates not only postwar reconstruction but also justly concluding a war, after the end of “major operations” against a standing army. |
