Middle East uplands Explanation: The term relief in geography does correspond to the italian term rilievi, but it is not generally used when referring to areas of higher elevation. In this case I would opt for the term uplands, though another alternative could be highlands. It's hard to say without knowing to which part of the Middle East the source is referring. If it were referring to a well defined area of mountains - eg. Asir & Hejaz Mountains in Saudi Arabi - the term mountain range could be used. Example sentence(s):
