Italian term or phrase: scooby doo
Hello, am translating a website that deals with the hire and sale of marquees and tensile-structures.
I come across a type of method for closing the side curtains of a marquee, so-called, "scooby doo", but the only Scooby I know of like bones and rides in a van.
Could "quick-draw" do the trick? Has anyone ever seen this type of closing method? TIA

I do not know about a scooby doo closing method. In both case, i prefer leave names as-is when possible. This is a typical case.

disagree  Rosanna Palermo: Scooby-Doo is a trademark owned by Hanna & Barbera. Using it for commercial purposes is definitively not advisable. Moreover, this is a translation. It has to make sense to English speakers. You would not say "mediante Topo Gigio" in Italian.

  -> Yes I know it's a marquee, I said it "could" be a bungee cord as a familiar term but my first answer is PVC cord. So maybe pvc rope or cord would work then. https://www.customcovers.co.uk/marquee-glossary.html

Based on the following, it seems similar to the old style pull string curtain rods (one way or 2 ways)
