course with a specialization in classical studies, core science and/or education Explanation: First of all, the term ordinamento refers to the school system, which - in Italy - includes three main different types of secondary schools. Among them, lyceums, technical institutes, and professional institutes. Lyceums are essential to continue with university studies but do not give you specific knowledge about a profession (mainly your studies focus on classical languages, core science or modern languages), while technical and professional institutes allow you to start a profession just after you finish high school. Now, more specifically: Classico: sometimes called Gymnasium or Grammar School, it is a secondary school specializing in classical studies Scientifico: secondary school specializing in core science Magistrale: is a sort of a teaching institute, a secondary school specializing in education |
