Il centro polifunzionale XXXX, caratterizzato dalla presenza di un supermercato XXXX, si snoda in tre blocchi edificati, incernierati tra loro. La scelta dei materiali da impiegarsi nella realizzazione del complesso si è orientata, per la parte strutturale, verso elementi prefabbricati in cemento armato precompresso unitamente ai tamponamenti perimetrali realizzati in pannelli verticali, con superficie finita in cemento a vista, anch’essi prefabbricati. La ricerca di reinterpretazione di un materiale povero quale il cemento armato, unita alla volontà di svincolarsi dalla verticalità imposta dall’utilizzo di questa tipologia di pannello, ha individuato nell’inserimento di uno scuretto sul piano del getto, l’espediente per ottenere una modularità di facciata a quadroni regolari.
