Italian term or phrase: confezioni
Batch production records are the context of the document.
"Numero di confezioni per imballo"
Is this number of packages per packaging"?
Also further on in the file it mentions "cartoni" for cartons. So there is a distinction between "confezioni", "imballi" and "cartoni"
Any ideas?

You could use either term. But pieces is probably best - pieces per box, boxes per carton.

Asker: The thing is that there are 4 different definition throughout the document: confezioni, imballi, scatole, cartoni. I need a different definition for all 4, they cannot overlap.
