Italian to English translations [Non-PRO]

Italian term or phrase: mezzo pesante/leggero
I know what these terms mean (having consulted with the client).

Mezzo leggero: un veicolo tipo autovettura o furgone, fino a 3,5 tonnellate (lkw)
Mezzo pesante: camion

But just not sure how to render them in English. For mezzo pesante I'd probably use HGV/Heavy Good Vehicle. For mezzo leggero, do you think "small vehicle" is correct? Or is there a field-specific term.

Asker: This sounds good but unfortunately you're all right - there's no mention of "commerciale" so I think it would be too much of a stretch
