si tratta di una richiesta di offerta ad un fornitore di stampi per assemblaggio prototipale di componenti per un robot per piscine. Nelle note della richiesta di preventivo, compare:

I'd say a stainless steel core with a rubber/plastic skin co-molded together.

Co-molding or co-injection molding is mostly used with 2 different density plastics so you can have a strong core and a skin of a different appearance/touch as a finish or to grind down.

It's also used to mold plastic onto metal
