Cercando si trova molto il prefisso "meta-", ma non è appropriato qui.
Dopo, ce ne sono due altri possibilità:
- il fiume Meta, che si unisce con il Tauro, formando il Metauro;
-oppure "la metà", ma con l'articolo maschile:

"Il pellegrinaggio è spesso accompagnato dal canto, eseguito o durante il viaggio verso il meta o presso il santuario...."

disagree  Herbert Schuster: Im vorgegebenen Satz ist wohl eher das Ziel gemeint, daher besser "doel,reisdoel". www.transexp.com Ich gebe zu, dass ich nicht ganz sicher bin, aber die vorgegebenen Texte sind auch nicht immer richtig geschrieben.

  -> Meinst Du das eigentlich? Denn "das Ziel erreichen" sagt man auf Italienisch "arrivare alla meta", nicht "arrivare il meta"...
