I was suggesting "chili", but I thought I misinterpreted the articles that I hid the answer, and checked again, it is indeed "chili" :D, small chili to be exact. Rica is the term used by herbs trader in Manado to name chili.

Rica-rica is "characterized by its strong, aromatic essences and its medicinal properties. It tastes slightly like sage and has long been use in [South America, esp. Peru and Chile] as a tonic, as well as a remedy for ailments of the heart and kidneys, and to improve blood circulation."
