Register Explanation: I’m guessing it’s an abbreviation of “daftar isian”. From what I understand buying land in a village context starts with getting a letter from the village head which is co-signed by the potential seller, which is then used to take to the local land affairs office or a land deed official. Presumably for administration purposes there would be a register of people who came to the village head which notes details of the land, sellers and buyers etc. Sometimes the village head himself acts as the land deed official / PPAT. There are a number of somewhat oblique Googel references. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2013-03-31 21:25:18 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Correction: 'Google' references |
