Explanation: It is a ritual, and this is not working in same manner in English speaking countries. so verbal meaning is not accurate, hence I shall suggest to use transliteration word Swayamvara and place a expression of it, "A ceremony where bride selects her groom", in bracket or either. Direct verbal translation is not good at all. |
