Greek term or phrase: βλέπω τον Χριστό φαντάρο
What are the various meanings of this idiom? I have come across theses examples:-
1) Θα δεις τον Χριστό φαντάρο εκεί που πας! (LITERAL?)
2) - Καλά, και θα τράκαρες;
- Άσε ρε, είδα τον χριστό φαντάρο σου λέω!
I am sorry that I have perhaps not provided enough information but a fuller article is to be found at http://www.slang.gr/lemma/1932-blepo-ton-xristo-fantaro.
I don't quite understand the usage, e.g. can the idiom just mean, as in example 2, τρομάζω?
-'OK and would you be scared?'
- 'Shut up, mate! (HOW DO I TRANSLATE THE REST?)

Thanks, both. It is a very odd expression & I wonder how it originated. But I now know what it means.
