με βαθμό has been / was awarded the degree of X with Y Honours Explanation: Απλώς δεν συντάσσεται με τον ίδιο τρόπο. "was awarded the degree of Χ with Second Class Honours (Upper Division)" http://www.translatum.gr/forum/index.php?topic=5533.0#ixzz1y... Το δικό μου πτυχίο λέει "has been awarded". Upper Second/Two Explanation: The equivalent in England, for 'ΛΙΑΝ ΚΑΛΩΣ' is A YOU SAID. Ex. He/She took a degree in xx and attained/ got i.e First Class Honours, Upper Second, or even Upper Two........etc. Degree, as opposed to the American system where they 'Majored' in...... So, the translation might go like this:- 'xx received an Upper Second in xx from the Department of xx' even without mentioning the word 'Degree', as that is understood. |
