Sin ser algo definitivo, el daño que nos causan no deja de ser considerable= Sin ser algo definitivo, el daño que nos causan es (bastante) considerable.
Aquí la única doble negación, hubiese sido traducir literalmente y meter "tampoco" en el lugar de 'auch nicht'
