Eine Sicherheitsdirektion war eine monokratisch organisierte österreichische Sicherheitsbehörde der zweiten Instanz. Es bestanden in Österreich neun Sicherheitsdirektionen, also eine pro Bundesland, mit Sitz in der jeweiligen Landeshauptstadt. Sie waren als Filialen des Bundesministeriums für Inneres in den Bundesländern anzusehen.
