gender note Explanation: https://www.hamburg-messe.de/en/gender-note Gender-Note For the sake of readability we often use the masculine form e.g. “he, him, himself". We always mean all genders in terms of equal treatment. The shortened language form has editorial reasons and is unbiased. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 mins (2021-03-22 18:21:54 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- https://www.connexsvt.com/gender-note/ -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 mins (2021-03-22 18:25:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Gender statement” would also work https://career.semikron.com/gender-statement.html |

A note on gendered language Explanation: "A note on gendered language" specifies that it is about language. Also, you might want to decide how you're going to proceed to imitate that in the subsequent translation. For example, it has become quite common to use 'they, them, there' for both genders (and that decision could affect how you decide to translate the content of this note). Note on gender use Explanation: You can't leave it out... Compare with this: "Note on Gender Use To avoid using one gender exclusively when referring to both male and female teens, I have used masculine and feminine pronouns throughout the book, recognizing that this choice does not fully reflect gender diversity. I do appreciate and honor the fact that there are teens who identify as transgender or who identify as non-binary. The chapters in this book are intended to be inclusive of diverse gender identities." https://www.scribd.com/book/465056788/Is-Raising-Your-Teen-A... |
