Law/Patents - Real Estate / Austrian Land Register
German term or phrase: B.R.P. or BRP
This abbreviation comes up in an Austrian document concerning real estate transfers. referring to a process at the
Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung des Finanzamtes für Gebühren und Verkehrsteuern in Vienna.
The specific context is about a clearance certificate for BRP ****/****.
I found references for other processes at this Finanzamt, but could not figure out what BRP stands for.
Any help appreciated.

Bezugsregisterpost
Explanation:
I found a note in my personal glossary:
"Bezugsregisterpost-Nr., jetzt: Erfassungsnummer, ist so was wie eine Geschäftszahl, angezeigt beim Finanzamt unter der BRP/ERFNR."

Unfortunately I did not record the source of this information. (And Google could not find this term, though there are some hits for "Bezugsregister").

booking register entry

Explanation:
Excuse the spanner I am putting in the works, but I too - like Bettina - have the above unreferenced entry in my own glossary.

My own Kaufvertrag from 2002 for a flat/ apartment in Vienna refers to a Selbstberechnung / Erfassungsnummer under the GrEStG - Austrian Grunderwerbsteuergesetz - which had diverted me irksomely in the direction of a Berechnung answer, but I couldn't pin it down.
