Ausschöpfung
German to English
Social Sciences
Psychology
therapy for anxiety disorders
This term appears only in a flow chart accompanying the article on this therapeutic trial.
1 Jahr nach Entlassung (1JK): n = 193 (Ausschöpfung 58,1%)
irgendeine Katamnese vorhanden: n = 249 (Ausschöpfung 75%)
My guess is that it means something like "retention," but I don't really understand it.

: Yes, I think you're probably right. I expect they sent out a follow-up questionnaire.

utilization rate
utilization rate: the percentage of respondents with whom an interview is conducted
of the total number of respondents selected
I agree that this is hard to grasp from the context. It could be said that the response rate is different from the utilization rate. It is a subset of the response rate.

Example sentence:
"Ganz allgemein definiert entspricht die Ausschöpfungsquote dem prozentualen Anteil der Befragten, mit denen ein Interview realisiert werden konnte, an der Gesamtzahl aller ausgewählten Befragten"
Note from asker:
Thanks Elizabeth. You may be right, but I'm not sure it fits here. |
Discussion
What is the relevance of "one year after discharge" and "any catamnesis available"? Catamnesis is follow-up history.
"Utilisation" is a possibility.
