German term or phrase: Monsterschnetzeln
I'm aware this is about killing monsters, but I'm wondering if there's a specific verb that is used for schnetzeln in computer games when it comes to monsters and zombies? Schnetzeln means to slice or shred meat, what do you do with monsters?!

The actual sentence that I have to translate is:

"Für Fragen, Infos und Spass am gemeinsamen schnetzeln die beste Anlaufstelle die ich kenne, habe auch lange nach einer Gruppe gesucht."

Many thanks in advance for any help.

"Hack & slash"
Explanation:
"Hack & Slash" is a genre of computer game / RPG game, so something involving "hack & slash" or "hacking & slashing" maybe?

It looks like something you could be quite informal with.
Is it describing a gaming venue/store or a website/forum for bringing gamers together?

You might also talk about “monster slaying” rather than slashing

Thank you Sebastian. I chose this answer as "slaying" was actually the best option here - the text referred to a specific game and with a bit of Googling, I found that "slaying" was the right verb in this context.
