I assume it is related to billing or settlement, but I cannot find a suitable word in the context of pensions. The employer makes these payments to another company/entity.

Asker: I agree, it struck a cord with me, too. Especially cause it is mentioned together with payroll services and payroll runs, etc. are mentioned in my text before the section on pension accounting service.
