I think I have found your trade fair. If it is indeed about energy conservation, then I would propose this as an alternative:
how the industry is constructing a healthy and energy-efficient built environment for many generations to come
I think nachhaltig/sustainable is starting to grate on listeners/readers.

agree  philgoddard: I like your last suggestion, except "constructing a built environment" is a tautology, and I think "creating" would be better. Also, I would leave out "many".
