You could also go with Gordon´s suggestion of copied instead of rewritten thought that word did pop up a few times on Linguee search. But in the second use, it is different and less clear, I agree with you there. Maybe, as I suggested above: This page was entered into the records on 19 Dec 1978. copied onto this page Explanation: "umgeschrieben" means "copied" in this context. I'm fairly sure about that. "onto this page" seems to me to be a good translation of "an gleicher Blattstelle", given the context, although I'm less sure about that. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 hrs (2018-07-16 19:57:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I'm having second thoughts about this. I think "transcribed" would be better than "copied" or "entered into". So how about "This page was transcribed ..."? |
