Temps composé Explanation: Le gérondif est un mode. Ce mode comprend les deux temps : présent (simple) et passé (composé). Comme tout temps composé, il est formé de l'auxilaire (avoir ou être) conjugué au temps simple qui lui correspond gérondif présent) + participe passé du verbe à conjuguer. Oui, il est utilisé dans la langue courante également mais assez rarement. Disons qu'il faut que la situation s'y prête. Reste le cas du "en"... Si le "en" est indispensable à la formation du gérondif, quel est le temps du verbe "chanter" dans la phrase suivante : La cigale, ayant chanté tout l'été, se trouva fort dépourvue quand la bise fut venue. |
