French term or phrase: Qui allait te manger
Ich übersetze Kurzzusammenfassungen von den Folgen der Serie "Mama Africa". Die Titel sind auch zu übersetzen, und bei diesem hier verstehe ich nicht so ganz, was gemeint ist.

In der Folge fragt das Sohn, was es zu essen gibt. Als er hört, dass es schon wieder Reis gibt, beklagt er sich. Mama lächelt und sagt dann diesen Satz (Den Satz davor verstehe ich nicht). Ich reime mir zusammen, dass das sinngemäß so etwas bedeutet wie: "Wenn ich keinen Reis kochen würde, was würdest du dann essen?"

Was meint ihr?
