I know that especes is species but doesn`t seem appropriate here. Is specimen a better bet or is there something else?

Cela peut être formulé comme ceci car il n'y a pas de verbe correspondant au nom entity. Mais AsIII et AsV en temps que "types" sont des entités. (quand je travaillais sur un standard pour décrire les réactions chimiques, nous avions en fait créé des classes "Species" et "SpeciesType"). Tout dépend si "speciation" ici fait référence à l'identification ou à la séparation.

Mais tout ça est du pinaillage. Species sera très bien compris de toute façon :-)

Asker: Hi, Just discovered this in the text which would indicate that perhaps "species" is correct. It therefore allows the speciation of arsenic, i.e. to differentiate AsIII and AsV. Any thoughts/ Thank you, Chris.
