parameters of a/the Gaussian Explanation: I would skip 'numerical'. E.g. parameters of the Gaussian (case) were the mean and standard deviation and in the non-Gaussian case they were the median and the interquartile intervals. Something like that. Mean and SD are parameters of the Gaussian distribution. Example sentence(s):
