French term or phrase: piètement de type portique non fermé
This is the description of requirements for meeting room tables and I'm unsure of how to deal with 'type portique non fermé' in the following sentence:

Le piétement sera de type portique non fermé carré ou biseauté, laqué epoxy blanc pour l’ergonomie de l’assise autour de la table, d’une dimension de 55x55mm.

From pictures in the document the base is made up of a top bar and two legs (at either end of the table).
I've found 'portal frame structure' but it seems to be for bigger constructions rather than tables. Is it OK or is there another term?

English translation:non-enclosed gate-type support
Explanation:
One possibility. What they don't want is a box-type support which limits the legroom under the table.

Thank you. I used 'non-enclosed' but felt 'gate' indicated a horizontal bar, not necessarily at the top so went for 'portal-type'
