Although it's not the term I'd expect, I can only imagine it might mean no cross-bar between the legs, meaning for example that a wheelchair could be pushed right underneath. Because most kitchen furniture is designed to be used standing up, it often has a cross-member running abtween the front (and also back) legs, for greater rigidity.
I don't think a ggas burner would make any sense for a 'table de tri', and you woldn't normùally have a ramp for bins underneath, as the bins would be wheeled normally on the floor — anything else on the floor traps dirt and makes cleaning difficult. |
