Having a few ideas come to mind on how to translate this. A calque translation simply wouldn't work in English (irrigating/watering coursework through research)

I have the following ideas, which would you go with?
- Giving life to coursework through research
- Nurturing coursework through research
- Informing coursework through research
- Fueling coursework through research

I cannot use the word "cultivate" because it has been used in a previous line in a different context
