Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software / this refers to a software platform designed to allow communication between different systems
French term or phrase: version équipée
C’est la seule version équipée de la plate-forme logicielle. This refers to a software platform deployed at a number of sites. I am having difficulty understanding the term 'équipée' here. Thanks in advance for any help.

English translation:...only version equipped with...
Explanation:
Isn't "équipé de" usually translated as "equipped with"? It's hard to say without context, but I wonder if the sentence could be parsed differently, like so:

It is the only version (that is) equipped with the software platform.

(The only version of what? That would depend on context.)

Many thanks - I had initially interpreted version équipée as a stand-alone descriptive term.
