French term
certificat de toise
French to English
Bus/Financial
Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
administrative document
I'm looking for the English for "Certificat de toise". It is an administrative document certifying that someone's height was measured and determines how tall the person is. It is mostly seen in jobs where a standard height is required. The country is Gabon, French-speaking, and this certificate is demanded to security officers to prove they are as tall as the required height.

Comment: "I encountered this expression while doing research, and I found out that height certificate is more related to a qualification for working at heights, such as scaffolds, ladders, etc. Workers therefore follow a height training to be issued a height certificate. "

height requirement certificate
Presumably, the certificate would only be issued to those who meet the requirement, rather than all candidates measured.
Conversely, I doubt there would a certificate issued that states, "Too short for requirements -> Failed."

height measurement certificate
The attached certificate attests that Mr. so and so's height has been measured using a measuring length (toise)
The secong attachment proves that 'toise' is a measuring unit'

The title in French is not 'Certificat de taille', but 'Certificat de toise'. That certificat certifies that the measurement length 'toise' has measured the height of a person

: la finalité est identique, mais le certificat précise bien que la personne a été mesurée, la notion doit être importante si le certificat est ainsi rédigé

: "Using a toise" doesn't make sense. It's like saying "using a metre" or "using a foot".

It is not a 'Certificat de taille'
