Flemish term or phrase: geplafonneerde uurloon
context:

'Indien het berekende uurloon hoger is dan het geplafonneerde uurloon wordt het verschil vermenigvuldigd met het aantal uren educatief verlof van de betrokken maand en wordt het resultaat in mindering gebracht van het bruto.'

Would it be correct to call this 'the levelled out hourly wage,' (i.e., levelled out (up) to the maximum) as in:

'If the calculated hourly wage is higher than the levelled out hourly wage, the difference is multiplied by the number of hours of educational leave of the relevant month and the result is deducted from the gross amount.'

Or might there be a better way of saying this?

agree  Chris Hopley: Personally speaking, I would prefer 'capped hourly rate' or 'capped hourly pay' to keep it neutral, as "wage" would only be appropriate for blue collar workers
