This is a song of praise that I am trying to understand.

My main problem would seem to be دو صد چندين و چندان. I wonder if the 200 is just a number picked out of the blue. Here's some more context:
وليكن مزد وجدانش دو صد چندين و چندان است

پرستد مردگان را گه ، به اجدادش گهي نازد
Sometimes he idolizes the dead, sometimes he glories in his ancestors
گهي بر خود توكلها و گه دستش به دامان است
Sometimes his trust is in himself and sometimes he appeals to others
به ظاهر پاك گرداند گناه جسم و روحش را
Seemingly he cleansed the sin of his body and soul
وليكن مزد وجدانش دو صد چندين و چندان است
