English term or phrase: clean lines
The text talking about the cherrywood armoire.
"Its clean lines blended well with the apartment's contemporary design."

I can not picture what it looks like when referring to its "clean lines." What is it about this feature?

Thanks!

pleasing to the eye

Explanation:
This is a tricky one to define. Generally, something that is of high quality can be thought of as having clean lines. It could be a piece of furniture that is well constructed and looks "sleek" and in place. A Mercedes sports car has "clean lines", for example. The link is to a picture of a dining room that is cosidered to have "clean lines"

agree  kmtext: Subtle curves, elegant, flowing lines, etc. An object of beauty in itself without the need for extra ornamentation. I'd say that deceptively simple construction might be better as the design could be very complex but not obviously so.

straight(ish) and clearly defined lines

Explanation:
This is used in a similar way to the expression 'clean lines' in classical art such as ballet where clean lines is used to refer to the straight(ish), clearly defined lines of the dancers. The intention is that the definition and articulation of the lines is pleasing to the eye.
