English term or phrase: where are you?
I can't remember how to say "where are you" in Urdu, I believe it ends with "ho".
Aap kahaa(n) hai(n) ? OR Tum kahaa(n) ho?
Explanation:
We should use Aap kahaa(n) hai(n) while asking this question to a person who is older/senior to us or has a good social status. *Aap* denotes respect and it is suitable to end the sentence with *hain* rather than *ho* because it matches with *Aap*.

On the other hand, if we are asking this question to a person who is younger/junior to us or is close to us, then we should use *Tum kahaa(n) ho because Tum discards formality which we don't exercise while talking to people rather intimate to us.
