Tech/Engineering - Furniture / Household Appliances / film
English term or phrase: dumbwaiter
Additional problem is the play on the word morphology. I don't need the translation of the whole dialog, just a suggestion for the main stumble block: "dumbwaiter"
Context:
-What's this thing? A mini elevator?
- It's called a dumbwaiter.
- Why is it called a "waiter"?
- Because it carries food.
- Why is it called "dumb"?
- It doesn't speak, or ask countless idiotic questions.

Ukrainian translation:мовчазний офіціант
Explanation:
В даному контексті даний кухонний ліфт можна назвати "мовчазний офіціант", бо інакше подальший діалог не матиме змісту. І обов'язково взяти в лапки.
