English term or phrase: sniffle and muzzle

Do not suppress your cough. Also, it is better to **sniffle** your nose than to **muzzle**. If you **muzzle**, **muzzle** the nostrils one at a time.

Gracias de antemano!

aspirar/inspirar - descargar/'sonarse la nariz'
Explanation:

I think this is a word invented by the author by analogy with the mouth of a gun for discharge:discharge of a gun, discharge of the nose.
As nobody knows word, it’s a possibility.

neutral  Chema Nieto Castañón: I see, but the mouth for entrance or discharge of a gun refers to the "hole" but it does not suggest an action (either "enter" or "discharge") while "descarga nasal" refers to either the action of "discharging" or to the mucus that has been discharged.
