win over llever consigo Explanation: I'm not convinced (!) that repetition of "win over" works well in Spanish. Nor am I convinced (now we know who is said to have said this) that "win over" has the exact same meaning in both halves of the sentence. Nor, even, that this is really about 'persuasion' (and less still about 'conquistar'). My suggestion (sin ánimo de convencer a nadie...): si logra llevar consigo su propio ánimo podrá apropiar el del mundo entero -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2016-12-21 23:25:49 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ooops! - llevAr, not llevEr... |

win over superar / llegar a conquistar / "conquistar" / y otras opciones. Saludos cordiales. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 mins (2016-12-21 22:29:50 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Erratum: En la frase: Si puedes llegar a superar tu mente propia mente, puedes llegar a superar al mundo entero. Me sobra una "mente", quise escribir: Si puedes llegar a superar tu propia mente, puedes llegar a superar al mundo entero. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 days (2016-12-26 22:40:43 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- You're welcome! Glad to be of help! :-) |
