¿Sabes si en el producto o licuadora los botones están en inglés? Mi experiencia es que siempre están en inglés, como "ON/OFF", por ejemplo. Si tienes accesso al producto, puedes fijarte y basar la traducción un poco en eso.

I understand the verb "pulse" to mean "blend in a short burst". Most food processors and some blenders have a button for "pulsing", which only stays on while you are pressing it. It allows you to let the food settle again before the next few seconds of blending, to get a homogeneous consistency without leaving it completely pureed.

Pulse is a button or a function that it appears in some or most countertop blenders, and food processors. Not every blender has it.

When you press the pulse button the blender or food processor will work at its fastest speed , but it will stop when you release the button. The difference with the other speeds or functions is that the blender or food processor stops when you release the button.

El término aparece nuevamente en la siguiente frase:

...la cual he traducido como sigue:

Al pulsar el botón batido los ingredientes son empujados hacia las cuchillas giratorias para reducir las bolsas de aire y evitar que los ingredientes floten en la superficie.

Entiendo que 'pulse' se refiere al botón de pulsación 'blend', porque vemos el tratamiento nominativo de 'pulse' en este caso.
