Hola,

Gracias

Been thinking about history lately and remembering the period (1940) when the Nazis had conquered Europe and Britain stood alone.
One of the unanswered questions of that time is, why didn't Hitler invade England when he had the chance?
One answer that has been put forward is that the British pagans set up a shield which Hitler could not penetrate. I remember reading about the bonfires throughout the isles and the ceremonies--especially around the summer solstice.

My mother and aunt participated in those Lammas Night workings during WWII, it must have been something to behold..

hechizos/conjuros de la noche de Lammas
Explanation:

"Because of the cyclical nature of the month, the timing of magical workings (spells) should be cöordinated to that phase of the moon that is in harmony with the intent or purpose of the spell."
http://www.blue-moon-manor.com/moon/moon-magic.html

Por ejemplo, esta página, sobre un libro titulado "APA Book of Shadows: Rituals, Workings, Magick, and Spells", dice "Every solitary practitioner and pagan group has their own spells, rituals, celebrations, customs and traditions. The rituals and spells included here are but a sampling of the ones used within the APA and by its members." Aquí no menciona "workings".

"Both spells and rituals can both be considered workings of witchcraft or magick." Se concluye: "As you can see the line separating spells and rituals is very thin, and there are often times when the two categories will overlap. And, while it is not necessary to label each working you perform, having a general understanding of the differences will greatly assist in the understanding of the three forms of magick and how they can best assist you in everyday life."

Tal vez debamos llamarlos "encantamientos" o simplemente "brujerías".

Asker: Muchísimas gracias, me has ayudado mucho!
