I am translating a restaurant menu. It is a restaurant from New York and I need to translate it into Spanish.

They offer "salt lick slaw" as a side for the main dishes. I cannot find a proper translation for this recipe. Could you help me?

I have found a recipe book called "The Salt Lick Cookbook", is it possible that this is a recipe explained in this book? I have also found that "salt lick" is something salty the animals lick, but I do not think this works in this context.
