English term or phrase: transfer
“New” Participants (via new hire, transfer, or promotion) may receive non-recoverable monthly Guarantee payments in lieu of any other Incentive Compensation during their first several months of employment as set forth in their offer/transfer/promotion document.
Monthly Guarantee payments are equal to a Participant’s Monthly TIC, which is 1/12 of the Participant’s annual TIC.
A “new” Participant may elect to “opt out” of the Guarantee program, but only if (a) the Participant “opts-out” (by written/email notice to his/her manager) within the first week after his/her receipt of this Plan, and (b) the “opt-out” is approved in writing/email by the Area VP.

Transfer is defined as the movement of an employee from one position to another position at the same pay grade level or similar salary.
