Change log

Jul 1, 2009 21:49: Lucia [Lulu] Lay changed "Level" from "Non-PRO" to "PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (2): Igor Liba, Rad Graban (X)

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Michal Zugec Jul 2, 2009:
Milan, ak neuvedieš viac detailov, tak sa správnej odpovede nedočkáš. Podľa mňa je zatiaľ Matejova odpoveď najvhodnejšia, ale z kontextu sa napokon môže vykľuť aj niečo iné.
Rad Graban (X) Jul 1, 2009:
Žiadne pravidlo asi neexistuje, ale... ...ty musíš vedieť podľa kontextu, či sú tam dva motory - "vrchný" a "spodný", aby si to mohol prípadne preložiť ako "kryt vrchného motora". Môj názor.
Ináč povedané - ak je tam iba jeden motor, tak "upper" asi nebude prívlastkom "engine".
Milan Cerny (asker) Jul 1, 2009:
termin z lingvistiky tremin z lingvistiky to nieje, ale nevedel som kam to zaradit. ja nechcem vediet preklad samotneho terminu, ale pravidlo (ak existuje) ako sa taketo vyrazy prekladaju (vid text mojej otazky), pretoze sa to podla mna da prelozit dvomi sposobmi a kazdy ma iny vyznam.
Rad Graban (X) Jul 1, 2009:
Erm... Si si istý, že je to termín z lingvistiky? :~))))
Matej Hasko Jul 1, 2009:
v takom prípade by som tipol ten horný kryt motora, ale lepšie by bolo spýtať sa klienta, ak je to možné. Inak to bude naozaj len tip.
Milan Cerny (asker) Jul 1, 2009:
kontext problem je, ze z kontextu to nieje jasne

toto skôr, ale samozrejme záleží len a len na kontexte
