Říká se tomu "riser karta". Dovozci a prodejci holt nemají čas přemýšlet na lingvistickými finesami :-)
Je to karta, která umožní připojení dalších karet otočených o 90° (tj. souběžně se základní deskou). Většinou se tak dělá PCI-X a grafika.
První odkaz - fotky kartet, druhý odkaz - příklad umístění ve skříni.

Osobne se mi to samotnemu moc nelibi, ale par - pravda, ceskych - gogglehitu to ma, a kdyz nekdo nevymysli nic lepsiho, je to nouzovka, u niž bude aspon znaly ctenar vedet, o cem je rec.

Len tip, všade sa to používa len ako riser karta.
Veľmi sa to neprekladá, asi počítajú s tým, že kto je od fachu, rozumie po anglicky.
