What does commercial margin mean?. The commercial margin is what is left from a product sales in other words that part of the selling price which covers our business costs and which represents the net profit in percentage.

This is the part of the selling price that is our mark-up, as a percentage of the selling price. If cost of sale is zero, our 'dekningsbidrag' is 100. Mark-up itself is calculated from the cost price, and can extend into hundreds and thousands of percent, to infinity.
